Has anyone ever told you, you should do something. Something that you already know in your heart you love doing. Yet, there voice just moves you. For me this voice came on June 25, 2007 a friend sent me a text message saying that she thought I should create a fashion blog. I remember sending her a text message saying whats that. She began to tell me what it was and some of her favorite blogs. She thought that I should create a fashion blog and that I would be really good at it, she felt I had something to say. I took this as a big complement! I think it was the fact that she thought I had something to say about fashion. I was intrigued about the idea but I still wasnt sure about creating a blog of my own.
I shared the idea with my sisters and some friends and they also thought that I should create a blog. I began working on it and I had tons of ideas. My imagination had literally taken over. I felt that I wanted things to be so perfect. However in this pursuit of perfection it seemed like my blog was not getting off the ground. Some of you reading this know what I’m talking about. Do I need to even mention how many blog names I went through 
For a moment I thought about just not doing the blog, but I realized that it wasn’t that easy to walk away from. I love fashion! I love everything that fashion encompasses and the idea of creating a blog for me became a way that I would be able to express myself. In addition to my self realization there have been the voices of family and friends who I really love and respect who have consistently checked on me to see how my blog is coming. Apart of me feels if I didn’t follow through with this blog I’d be a quitter and that I’d be giving up on something I love fashion. Which is so not an option. So though I have many ideas which I think are great I know its going to take time to develop them all here. Like most things in our life, and us as people, this blog is a work in progress.
So I introduce you to my blog 29 pieces of me. Much of my blog will be about fashion but not limited to that as you will see. So I hope that you visit and check it out and you enjoy it just as much as I am going to love doing it.
